Sri Deivanathan Perumal - Thiru Devanarthogai Thirunangur, Nagapattinam District, Tamil Nadu, India

This temple is situated at a distance of three kms from Thirunangur on the banks of the river Manniyar. The moolavar is Sri Deivanayagan in a standing posture facing east and the thaayar is Sri Kadal Magal Naachiyar.

The legend is when Narayana came to this place, all the Devas came together and hence this place came to be known as Sri Devanarthogai. This god is said to have come from Sri Thiru Vidanthai - Cuddalore New Town or Thirupadripuliyur.

Sage Vashishta obtained the darshan of Lord Sri Vishnu at this place.

Thiru Mangaiazhwar has sung in praise of this Lord.
