Till today(25 Aug 2024), many have come in groups to do Samasti Biksha vandanam. Maha Periyava Kulanthaikal Biksha vanthanam group did more than 150 astothira pada pooja.
More than four hundred devotees under the banner Veda Bharathi had come in buses. They had come with placards displaying their activities across the states. On seeing the placards, His Holiness explained the various activities undertaken.
The Sampradaya Students too had come and sang Krishna songs near the Goshala at Orikkai. The Sampradaya students during the Biksha Vandanam Sankalpam in unison and in one voice in front of His Holiness in prayerful mood and with devotion chanted Swasti.Jan Kalyan today beside Biksha vandanam , did more than a dozen Astothira Pada Pooja.
I was told by a family that there are coming during Chatur Masyam to do Biksha Vandanam for the last forty years. It is very interesting to know how Raikways, RBI, Income Tax Biksha vandanam are done every year without a break for decades. The devotees from Erode and Chithode come during Chathur masyam without fail. Perhaps an expression of devotion to Guru during the Chathur masyam in groups cutting across communities, areas, states, nay even crossing oceans is amazing
