There is a temple named Sri Rajagopala Swami temple in Bagavathapuram near veppathur.

A humble appeal to all devotees,

Sri Rajagopala Swami temple situated in Bagavathapuram Veppathur post Thiruvidaimarudhur taluk was believed to be constructed many years ago and the temple needs renovation due to aging factor.

As the years passed, daily poojas and rituals were declining over the period of time and during the last few decades the poojas have become scarce.

In the year 2007, as per the divine directions to few bhakthas, they have vowed to perform daily poojas and rituals to certain extent.

On performing samprokshanam in the temple premises, as per the divine directions from god, it is decided to rebuild the temple in such a way that devotees can worship to all idols from outside. Currently it is not possible due to insufficient funds.

Now, Bagavathapuram Sri Vruddha Anjaneya Swami (BSVAS) Trust has taken the onerous task of constructing the temple.

Balalayam for the temple was performed on 13th and 14th February 2018.
